Ram Kumar Solomon KARKY (b. 10-12-1978), an autodidact with organic talent, from Tinsukia, Assam, India, proved to have a high-level command of international communicative English and has set a world record for the fastest speaking translator translating from 6 Indian languages into international English with an average of a bit less than 5 seconds per sentence of non-technical (but sufficiently challenging) translation, with no mistakes, making up to an average of 580 sentences per hour with small breaks to sip water. The test was recorded and later analyzed on “fast-translation-and-quality-translation” basis.
The Assam Book of Records appreciates his unique achievement and believes his ability is of tremendous value for humankind in terms of science, education, cross-cultural exchange and global business.
He is open to suggestions and challenges!
