Darshana Baruah (b 15-10-1998), a student of Jaipur Dental College, Jaipur, Rajasthan, daughter of Sabita Borah and Debojit Baruah of Lakhimpur, Assam, currently residing in Biswanath Chariali, Assam, has carved letters on the leaves of Allamanda Schottii (pilaghanti), which are the most beautiful letters carved on any leaves for the first time in the country (known upon a slew of searches), and thus it has been designated as a National Record. In 150 seconds, she carved 5 letters, each 10 mmx5 mm in size on 10th May 2021 at her residence.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises and appreciates her and wishes her more success in life.
