Adventure swimming of 141 km (in the river Brahmaputra) in 12 hours 5 minutes
Basanta Das (01-01-1992) of Biswanath District (Assam) did an adventure swimming of 141 km in the river Brahmaputra in just 12 hours 5 minutes on 21st November 2015. He started his journey at Gamirighat (Gohpur) at 5.25 am and ended the same at Kaliyabhomora Bridge at 5.30 pm. During the arduous swim, he played the flute, the sankha and the taal.
