Basanta Das did an endurance motorcycle ride of 75 kilometers (starting at Tezpur and ending at Bishwanath Chariali) without holding the handlebars on 26th July 2013 and has set a world record by playing the drum (dhol), the pepa, the cymbals (taal), the conch (sankha), the flute, the nagara and the dogor. During the ride he played 13 instruments and it was really awesome. The Assam Book of Records appreciates this unique performance and congratulates him on his success.
