WORLD'S FIRST TEMPLE IN CONCH SHELL SHAPE

Punyashali Atma Dr. Mukesh Somchand Shah (b 22-07-1955), a renowned builder and the Founder of Adinath Developer from Mumbai, Maharashtra, built a unique design for ‘Jain Derasar’ (Temple) in the shape of a Shankha (Conch shell) measuring 49 feet in length, 20 feet in breadth and 25 feet in height. He built the entire structure using marble (covering approximately 6000 sq. ft. area) in 54 days without the use of iron or steel marking it as an architectural miracle. Making it as per the rules of Jainism, he set a new world record on 26th November 2010 at Palitana, Gujarat, India.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) appreciates this architectural work of his and his creativeness and places his name on its World Record Category.
