Madrik Bairagi (b 05-12-2012), son of Geetimoni Bairagi & Krishna Bairagi of Hengerabai, Guwahati, and a 3rd standard student of NPS International School, Guwahati, Assam has set a record for showing prime mathematical abilities.
He can add and subtract two-digit numbers (eg. 35) upto 50 times in 70 seconds; his best time in two-digit addition and subtraction was 80, and he can do the same with 3 digit figures too within a limited time. He can multiply any 3 digit number (eg. 457) with any 1 digit with 100 percent precision without the use of any pen, pencil or paper. Master Madrik, according to the ABR, is the youngest child to compete in three different fields.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) appreciates his mathematical knowledge and places his name in the National Records Category.
