Jyoutish Sarania (b 01-02-1993 ), a teacher by profession, and a resident of Baksa, Assam, has set a record for writing an 8-line poem on a hand-woven towel known as ‘Gamusa’, and by doing so, has become the first person to create text using needle and thread. The writing is prominent and legible.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) appreciates his craft and places his name in the State Record category.
