NONSTOP SWIMMING FOR 12 HOURS
Pratima Devi Kalita (b 01-12-1976), a swimming instructor at Sarusajai in Guwahati, Assam, has set a record for swimming continuously for 12 hours in the Dr. Zakir Hussain Aquatic Swimming Pool. At six in the morning on December 11, 2022, she began swimming, which lasted until six in the evening. Swimming in November in cold water is a difficult task and she has accomplished so, successfully.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) congratulates Mrs Pratima on her accomplishment and adds Pratima's name to the category of state records.
