Viaan Bhartia (b 21-06-2016), a Grade I student at St. Mary's High School, Naharkatia, Assam and the son of Sonam Bhartia and Pratik Bhartia of Naharkatia, Assam has set a record for reading and writing the alphabet of ten different languages at the age of 6 years, 11 months and 3 days. The languages are Vietnamese, Russian, Greek, Coptic, Turkish, Spanish, Kazakh, Assamese, Hindi and English. The record was set on 24th May 2023, at his residence.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises his language proficiency at such a young age and places his name in the state records category.
