Shailja Garg (b 25-05-2019), a Senior KG student at Kangaroo Kids School and the daughter of Nidhi Garg and Nishu Garg of Guwahati, Assam, has established a record for reciting the Hanuman Chalisa in 2 minutes 45 seconds without making a mistake. The record was successfully set on June 24, 2023. The previous record for this category, lasting 3 minutes, was set on May 4, 2023.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises her talent and places her name in the state records category.
