Yunay Gupta (b 13-05-2017), a resident of Guwahati, Assam, and the son of Mridu Aggarwal Gupta and Sudhir Gupta, has set a new record by clinching gold medals in the ‘OALC’ (One Arm Long Cycle) and ‘Snatch’ categories at the 2023-24 State Kettlebell Championship. He achieved this feat by using a 4 kg kettlebell for 5 minutes in each category. As the youngest competitor to secure victory in the Kettlebell State Championship using a 4kg kettlebell in the Sprint category, Yunay has now claimed the state-level championship for the second time.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) acknowledges his talent by listing him among the state records.
