In celebration of the 350th Coronation of Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Nationalist Congress Party, Maharashtra State, set a record for orchestrating an unprecedented event in Roha, Raigad District, Maharashtra, India which started on March 4, 2024 and ended on March 7, 2024. This historic occasion witnessed the creation of a portrait rangoli spanning an awe-inspiring 126,000 square feet. Over 100 skilled artists collaboratively dedicated 70 hours to meticulously crafting intricate patterns and designs, paying homage to the legendary warrior king's enduring legacy. This ambitious project, featuring approximately 109 human portraits and utilizing 30,000 kg of Rangoli colors, aimed not only to set a world record but also to symbolize unity, culture, and tradition, captivating spectators from far and wide.
