FIRST ASSAMESE YOUNGEST INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO REFEREE REPRESENTING INDIA
Tonoya Konwar (b 20-06-2002), a taekwondo player since childhood and the daughter of Min Borgohain Konwar and Raju Konwar, Amguri, Assam has participated in the International Kyorugi Referee Seminar 2023 conducted by the World Taekwondo on December 7, 2023 to December 10, 2023, in Muju, South Korea, and has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Assamese youngest international taekwondo referee in the world, proudly representing India. She set the record at the age of 21.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises her exceptional talent and agility, including her name in the state records category.
