UNVEILING THE YOUNGEST KETTLEBELL ATHLETE IN THE COUNTRY
Yunay Gupta (b 13-05-2017), a resident of Guwahati, Assam, and the son of Mridu Aggarwal Gupta and Sudhir Gupta, has established three national records for performing excellently in the subsequent categories. He achieved 90 reps in the 5-minute Snatch category using a 4kg kettlebell. Additionally, he achieved 147 reps in the 10-minute OALC category using a 2 kg kettlebell. Moreover, he also achieved 353 reps in the 30-minute OALC Marathon using a 2kg kettlebell. The record-setting events took place during the 11th National Kettlebell Championships 2023-2024 held in Gurugram, Haryana, on March 29th-31st, 2024. He holds gold medals in all the categories and has become the youngest Kettlebell Athlete in India. He set the record at the tender age of 6 years 10 months and 11 days.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) acknowledges his unbelievable performance during the competition and places his name in the national records category.
