LARGEST 101 KG SWEET MADE IN RECORD TIME
Shree Hanuman Janmotsav Samity, under Shree Hanuman Janmatsav Trust of Guwahati, Assam, has set a record for making the largest traditional sweet (Peda), weighing 101 kg, within 6 hours, with the help of 10 Samity (Committee) members. This achievement took place at Venue Gallapati, Fancy Bazar, Guwahati, Assam, as part of the Swarn Jayanti Mahotsav (Golden Jubilee) celebrating Shree Hanuman Janmotsav 2024.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises this as the largest sweet ever registered in its database, acknowledging the committee's efforts and placing them in the state record category.
