Advay Jhun Jhunwala (b 28-04-2017), a Grade II student at Royal Global School, Guwahati, and the son of Poonam Jhun Jhunwala and Sonu Jhun Jhunwala of Guwahati, Assam, has set a new record for the fastest 100-meter run with a time of 20 seconds at the age of 7 years, 4 months, and 6 days. Trained by Pradeep Yadav, Advay previously set the record for the fastest 50-meter run at 9 seconds and is now the first boy in the state to set a record in the 100-meter category as well. The new record was achieved on 2nd September 2024 in Guwahati.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognizes his exceptional achievement and proudly includes his name in the state records category.
