Advay Jhun Jhunwala (b 28-04-2017), a grade II student at Royal Global School, Guwahati, and the son of Poonam Jhun Jhunwala and Sonu Jhun Jhunwala, Guwahati, Assam, has set a new record for the fastest 50 metre-run in 9 seconds. Advay is the first boy in the state to set a record in this category. The record was set on 1st August 2024 at Guwahati.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises his talent and places his name in the state records category.
