LARGEST GATHERING OF WOMEN SETS STATE RECORD WITH BIYANAAM PERFORMANCE
The Surujamukhi Sanmilit Mahila Samaj, Sivasagar, in collaboration with the Demow Anchalik Sanmilit Nari Samaj, Demow, organised a remarkable event on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Raichai Rural Stadium, Demow. A record number of 9,999 women, dressed in similar outfits, came together and performed Biyanaam continuously for 31 minutes, achieving a rare and impressive feat.
On behalf of the Assam Book of Records (ABR), we extend our heartfelt congratulations on the smooth and successful execution of this inspiring event, which has now been officially recognised as a state record.
